Hello, we are seeking a multipoint temperature sensor suitable for installation in refining and petrochemical reactors for in-situ temperature profiling. For our application, the sensor probe should be approximately 20–30 meters in length and provide 16–20 measurement points. The typical operating temperature range is approximately 500–750°C.

As the sensor will be deployed in refining and petrochemical facilities, it must be super robust and ATEX Ex compliant. Could you please confirm whether the OFSCN® 800℃ Fiber Bragg Grating Multipoint Temperature Sensor meets these requirements?

Thanks!

What is the difference between the multi-fiber array or multi-channel architecture?

Will you provide sensor installation service in the field?

### 1. Multi-Fiber Array vs. Multi-Channel Interrogator Architecture

These two terms refer to the **sensor structure (probe side)** and the **demodulation instrument (demodulator side)** respectively, which work together to achieve high-density multipoint sensing under high temperatures:

- **Multi-Fiber Array (Sensor Probe Side):**

- **Multi-Channel Interrogator Architecture (Demodulator Side):**

Could you pls provide a budgetary quote of the sensor array? Assuming the total length of the sensor array is 30m, 20 FBGs, distance between the FBG being ~1.2m. In addition, will the FBG sensor be factory calibrated? will the sensor still be strong and robust for installation after calibration? Based on our previous experience, the fiber usually becomes very brittle after being used at high temperature.
