The OFSCN® 200°C OFDR Micro All-Metal Strain Sensor is a high-precision sensing component specifically designed for distributed fiber optic sensing (DOFS) applications using Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry (OFDR).
Technical Overview
This sensor utilizes a specialized all-metal encapsulation to ensure high-modulus strain transfer from the environment to the optical fiber, which is critical for accurate structural health monitoring (SHM).
- Encapsulation: Single-layer elastic alloy tube.
- External Diameter: 0.6 mm (Ultra-slim profile for embedding or surface mounting).
- Fiber Type: Integrated with OFSCN® 200℃ Polyimide Optical Fiber.
- Temperature Range: Stable operation from -60°C to +200°C.
- Connectivity: Standard FC/APC connector with a sealed tail end.
