Product Alias: Fiber Bragg Grating Vibration Sensor, FBG Vibration Measurement Device.
This topic provides a technical overview of the OFSCN® Fiber Bragg Grating Vibration Sensor (also known as an FBG Vibration Detector).
Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) vibration sensors are designed to detect mechanical oscillations and dynamic structural changes by monitoring the shift in the reflected Bragg wavelength. Unlike traditional electronic accelerometers, these sensors are passive, immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), and suitable for long-distance signal transmission in harsh environments.
The vibration sensor works by converting mechanical vibration into periodic strain on the FBG element. As the sensor vibrates, the grating period changes, causing a corresponding wavelength shift that can be captured at high frequencies by an FBG interrogator.
For detailed technical parameters, including frequency response range and sensitivity, please refer to the official product page:

If you have specific technical requirements regarding the frequency range (Hz) or acceleration sensitivity (g) needed for your project, please feel free to describe your application environment.
