Will the internal fiber break if the steel tube sensor is crushed by heavy objects or buried under earthwork?
The steel tube packaging of the sensor is designed to provide robust protection for the internal optical fiber against external forces, including lateral pressure from heavy objects or earthwork. Under normal crushing or burial conditions, the seamless steel tube significantly enhances the sensor’s durability, preventing the optical fiber inside from breaking.
